Hello, welcome to my page. I’m cartoonist, artist and guitarist Joseph DiCecco. Visual storytelling has always been a passion of mine, from a young age. That drive to tell stories has manifested itself in the mediums of animation and cartooning. That drive has provided me with the opportunities to learn in environments where art thrives. I attended Art and Design High School, majoring in animation, and continuing my animation degree in Borough of Manhattan Community College. Currently, I’m in the process of applying to other schools to further my studies. Since my love of cartooning in my adolescence, I find myself venturing into other mediums. Currently, I’m embracing fine art studies, and working on improving my life and figure drawing. When I’m not doing arts, I find myself dabbling in the world of music. Playing guitar is another passion of mine. I started off my guitarist journey in the genre of metal and rock, but now tend to find myself leaning more towards jazz and funk work. Currently, I’m studying the technical elements of music, in an effort to produce original compositions and establish a background in musical understanding.
